The printer connects via a radio link which may have a weak signal, or the card may fail. It could be the computer which has lost the connection. Try closing down the computer, then re-booting. If the printer is soe distance away, try moving it closer.
Try to update your printer driver. Please visit the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/qQJd8g. Select your operating system to download the file.
If that doesn't help, follow the steps below:
1. Disconnect the printer from your computer.
2. On your computer, go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. Delete the Lexmark X2350 print object.
3. Reboot your pc.
4. Once the pc completely boots up, reconnect the printer into the pc. Wait until your pc fully recognizes the USB connection.
5. To ensure the print object has been successfully created automatically. Go to Control Panel > Printers and Faxes. You should see a new Lexmark X2350 print object in the list.
6. Try to print again.

If any part of the flag or holder appears to be broken, contact Lexmark technical support or a local authorized service provider.
The best thing you could do is to, ( A ) disconnect the unit from computer. ( B ) un-install the software from your computer and re-boot. ( C ) Disconnect all external devices from your unit and re-start unit.
( D ) Check your device manager for any outstanding marks or flags. ( If found, remove them and re-boot. ) Check device manager again. If clear or flags,( E ) reload your software for your photosmart All-in-One printer. Note. you must have this unit disconnected, both the USB and Power connection to the Printer, until the software asked to power up and Plug in USB connections.

Microsoft has the help you need for this issue and I wont try to give you long and possibly misleading information on here. It is a common problem but the answer is here
You need to refer to method "D" about half way down the page Once you clear the print job check you dont have any extra printers installed as quite often happens in these situations. If you have then delete your extra printer installations.
It was a connectivity problem between the computer and printer. I had recently switched from a direct USB connection to a non-powered USB hub. Apparently, routing through the hub resulted in an inadequate, inconsistent connection between the computer and printer, so print jobs were garbled or only parts of the page were getting printed. Switching the USB cable back to a direct connection between the printer and computer completely resolved the problem.
> Delete the printer in the printer list ( make sure that there's no printer left in the printer list for the CX 8400 ) > Click on the plus sign to add the printer again in the printer list in the Printer Brouser window you should see the printer listed there via USB connection., Click on it and check under "Print Using" if the CX8400 driver is listed ( not a guten print driver )
> If CX8400 driver is listed under Print Using., click on add and try to print.
> If "guten print driver" or no driver selected you may need to uninstall the printer driver and download a driver from the epson website.
Steps to uninstall the printer driver: 1.) Make sure that the printer is deleted from the printer list 2.) Click and open MAC or Apple HD / Library / Printer., and look for the Epson folder (drag the whole Epson Folder to your trash bin) 3.) Click and open MAC or Apple HD / Library / Receipts., and look for "Epson Printer driver package or Epson Printer driver.pkg and drag it toyur trash.. 4.) disconnect the connection from your Computer to Printer (USB) 5.) Empty your trash bin and restart your computer
Steps to download printer driver: 1.) Download Printer Driver Ver 3.88 epson12439.dmg

2.) Ones it is downladed to your desktop click and open the file or click on the "Vise X Installer" / Install and then quit 3.) Connect the printer to your computer (USB) 4.) Click on the Apple Icon / System Preferences / Print and Fax., Click on the plus sign to add the printer and print
Plug out the usb cable from the cpu. Try deleting the printers from the printers window(START, Printers and Faxes), uninstall the software.
Power off the printer and unplug power adapter.
After the printer has been deleted from the printer window, plug it back in and reconnect back to computer.
Then try a new installation of the printer and software.
The pending documents that have been stopped should now not be in the spooled documents.
