Mine is stuck also. I have taken the bobbin case out, pulled out any loose threads I can find and I still can't get it to move, either by the foot pedal or by the handwheel.
This is about the 3rd time this has happened since I bought this machine used on ebay a few months ago. The other times I was able to pull out the loose thread and get it working again but not this time.

Is all power to the machine tightly connected? Does the light come on?

Can you move the pressure foot up and down manually?

Hi there, I know this is completely off track from your question but I've been searching high and low for an instruction manual for the pfaff 9063, yours is the only thread I've found that mentions the machine, i wonder if all this time you know of anywhere that I could get one from ? Thanks a mil and I hope you managed to sort out your problem...

THe wheel is frozen

Check that there are no threads tangled in the bobbin area.

Most likely it has seized from dried oil. If it is a seizure, do NOT attempt to run the motor until the machine has been loosened. Continued use could damage the motor.

Wheel on right side that controls the needle up and down is very tight...

The needle on my Pfaff 2044 won't move and the wheel won't turn. What do I do?

There may be thread caught in the bobbin area which is not allowing the hand wheel to turn. Remove the bobbin case and check the hook for threads wrapped around the spindle and/or caught in the hook mechanism. A little clear sewing machine oil in a pipe cleaner is sometimes helpful in freeing threads in this area.

My phaff wheel seems to be locked up -- what can i do to fix it the needle will not go down to pull the bobbin thread thru ,and it "sticks " when i try to turn the wheel

There may be a piece of thread logded between the hook and the bobbin case holder. Try turning the handwheel very firmly backward (opposite the sewing direction).

I've just bought a Pfaff 1471 and it has "locked-up"... the needle won't go up and down and the hand-wheel won't move. Help please! :)

Do you have a bunch of material and thread stuck in the feed dog? Sounds like. This will sometimes happen. I'm afraid the only thing you can do is carefully work with a seam ripper or small scissors to get it all out. Be careful working. You will damage this part of your fabric, but you can take the seam allowance in a small bit. You will probably have to remove fabric & thread from underneath, through the bobbin area, too.

Once you have all of this cleared, the needle and wheel will turn. I suggest you try and take the needle out of the shaft and try pulling it out of the fabric before you start your work, too. That way, you won't risk breaking it and have a piece fly off at you.

It's frustrating and will probably make you curse at the machine-it's happened to everyone who sews at one time or another, and will happen again, I'm afraid.

Using a Pfaff Hobbymatic 935. Needle will not move, mechanism around bobbin will not move. Everything is locked in place. Tried cleaning everything, removed the needle (to get the fabric out of the way),...

It is likely the the bobbin holder is jammed up with cloth or thread. Take the bobbin holder out and turn the machine by hand, if it does not move it could have a broken timing belt or slipping coupling.

While sewing the bobbin case moves, wheel locks up, needle locks

Im not sure if this will help but thought I would pass it along. My Pfaff 6122 tells me to check bobbin for thread unrolling clockwise before you place it back in the machine. I had mine turned to un roll counter clockwise, this is wrong, the bobbin will fall out when you pull on the thread while you are holding it in your hand. You may just keep putting it in backwards. Hope this works for you. J.R.
