Question about Panasonic KX-TG5632 Phone
When I leave town for a couple days I turn the answering machine off because I hate coming home to that blinking light. One relative of mine has discovered that if he lets it ring 20 or so times it'll take a message in spite of me turning the answer function off.
I cannot tolerate a disobedient device. Off means off and I will not stand for being overridden. How, without unplugging the phone, do I make off mean off?

Most people will not let the phone ring 15 times when calling you. No way to circumvent without unplugging from the phone jack.
