Question about HP PSC 1315 All-In-One InkJet Printer

I used my printer for a couple of years already but during this time i notice that it is already noise, i can't print even i purchase i new ink cartridge.I dont know already what to do.If this is a hardware problem where could i buy that parts because somebody said that no available parts for HP in the store. Is that true?

Sometimes it's better to just buy a new printer. They are a lot cheaper these days. If you aren't sure what parts aren't working, it would be a waste of money to buy parts. And if you are sure what parts are not working, check eBay for them. As for the new cartridge, are you removing the protective tape that covers the bottom of the cartridge?

My hp psc 1315 is not printing all the information from Excel spreadsheet. It appears to be dropping off information. Is this a printer problem or an excel problem


Have you looked at the pinter preview to see if the information is on there before you print. If the info has dropped off befor you print, this could be due to the wrong format size of the paper. Sometimes the printer prints out two sheets which you put side by side for full view.

It automatically print a page everytime I start my hp psc 1315


Hi Siddarth

In HP PSC 1315 printer after replacing new Ink Cartridges the printer always prints Alignment test page every time you turn it ON.To resolve this problem you must complete the alignment process.

Steps

1.Turn the printer ON.
2.Once its ON, it will print the Alignment page. Place the page in the scanner bed correctly.
3.Then Press START SCAN button.
4.The power light will start blinking, wait until the power lights turns solid.
5.Now Alignment process is over.Discard the paper from scanner.
6.Turn the printer OFF and then ON, it will not print that page again.

Note:Please follow this steps every time when you replace the Cartridges.

HP 56 and 57 print cartridge


The problem cannot be solved even after downloading the HP cartridge compatibility software. The only solution is to buy a new HP cartridge to replace the old one which is still printing pretty good after refilling several times in a year. Perhaps it's the business tactics of the HP company which purposely setting some memory chips inside the all-in-one printer which can record the number of uses of any installed cartridges so in times it will reject that overdue cartridge and fail to respond properly. So the only way we consumers can do is to accept and pay if we want to use the product or curse them or just throw the printer away!!!!!

HP PSC 1315 All-In-One InkJet Print Cartridge Error


Hello -
Did you perhaps not mean to post under the 1315? I am not sure if you have this printer or another model. The 1315 normally takes a different number ink cartridge.

Meanwhile - gotta tell you that the 1315 is the buggiest printer I ever had. If you purchased it recently and can find your receipt, I'd take it back! Since they've pretty much done away with the 1315, if it was a recent purchase, it was likely a clearance item from some place.

Try taking all the ink cartridges out, uninstall the printer entirely, and reinstall it (the entire printer, not just the cartridges). Blow your printer out with canned air as well - dust, pet hair, people hair, fuzz and general paper fibers can build up more than we think, and cause error messages and other printing problems.

That should help, if it was the 1315 model.

That being said, note that if it still doesn't work, and you have the 1315, save yourself a lot of grief and toss it in the trash and buy another cheap printer! 1315 is Bug City!
