This sounds like a Magellan or tom tom. And the procedure is the same for both of them, call the manufacturer and get your checkbook out. Neither one nor for that matter any of the others, have released a procedure to allow you to recover these codes on your own. They are all, to the best of my knowledge "send it back so we can make more money off you" procedures.
I have said it before and will say it again, never program your home address and never lock the unit with a pin code. As you have now found out, you now know the reason why.
