How do I add CR to Barcode Value?

The primary purpose of bar codes is to encode the unique characteristics of numbers and letters can be in a format that machines can easily read. However, bar codes are read by people often also for this reason, the codes generally include both parties readable and legible. The most popular bar codes meet a standard called "Code 39". The latest version of the code with 39 additional characters called "Extended Code 39." Among other characters, Extended Code 39 allows users to include carriage returns (CR) in bar codes.

1. Setting the bar code scanner to read "Extended Code 39," Code 39 is not as common support CR. The details depend on the specific bar code scanning software is used, but you will usually find this option under "Tools" then "Options."

2. Configure the software to generate bar code to the "Extended Code 39" is also used. The details depend on the specific software to generate barcode is used, but you will usually find this option under "Tools" then "Options."

3. Type "M $" (without the quotes) at the point where you want the CR model is within the barcode. M $ gives a CR Extended Code 39.

NOT WORKING PROPERLY

Your problem could be that the scanner needs to be re-calibrated and the software reset or you have a malfunction on your Lazer pick up or your Decoder IC. Bar codes are made of carbon strips with binary numbers [ 1 & 0] etched into them much like a record or a VCR tape. As the Lazer in your decoder reads the codes it sends the binary numbers to a decoder which turns them into bytes and then sends then on to a CPU where they are processed and sent to a LCD or recorded in RAM. Later they are retrieved by an Encoder which identifies the numbers or the alphabetical letters associated with the bar code. If the bar code is subject to a strong magnetic field it will scramble the digital code by moving the carbon modules holding the intelligence rendering them useless. For some reason your scanner is not reading these codes or is not processing what it's reading. It will take a trained technician with the proper equipment to diagnose the problem correctly and determine where the problem lies. At any rate there are no adjustment or quick fixes for such an item. It contains some highly sophisticated circuitry and will require special test equipment and a technician that is well versed on repairing scanners. dhgill1949

what is the relationship between encoder snd dpi in canon printers?

ENCODER
An encoder is a device, circuit, transducer, software program, algorithm or person that converts information from one format or code to another, for the purposes of standardization, speed, secrecy, security, or saving space by shrinking size.

DPI
Dots per inch (DPI) is a measure of spatial printing or video dot density, in particular the number of individual dots that can be placed in a line within the span of 1 inch (2.54 cm). The DPI value tends to correlate with image resolution, but is related only indirectly.
