I really need to get rid of a phone number on my F700, i have deleted the number out of my contacts but when i go to (messaging), (create message), (message), when i touch the button that looks like a man with a cross on him, i get the (send to) screen with (recent log), (contacts) and (group).
If i touch recent log, the phone number is still in there even though i have deleted from my contacts, i am presuming this is a log of people who i have texted.
can you please tell me how to delete this log so the number has disapeared not only from my contacts but from the recent log as well.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones). click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need. Good luck!

Hi, you can recover deleted contacts and SMS from Samsung via Gihosoft Free Android data recovery software. With this freeware, you can easily recover deleted or lost data like photos, music, videos, messages, contacts, call logs, WhatsApp messages, Viber chat history and more from Samsung, Huawei, LG, HTC, Motorola, Google, Oneplus, Sony, Lenovo, ZTE and other Android devices directly.
To increase your chances of recovery TRY NOT TO SEND/ADD ANY MORE

If you wish to recover accidentally deleted text messages, contact numbers, call logs or other details from your mobile phones Sim Card then you are going to need to download a good Sim card data recovery program. That is How To Read Deleted Text Messages:
You will require USB sim card reader (any PC/SC Standards or Phoenix Standards based USB Sim Reader) to use the software and successfully recover data (contact numbers and text SMS) from the Sim card of your mobile phone
To use the software you simply connect your USB Card to the computer load up Sim card data recovery and it will allow you to view information including contacts numbers, and deleted SMS text messages along with the date and sending time of the message in simple report format.
Try to to soft-reset your unit. (6 steps) 1. BUT Make sure you backup your phone memory to your memory card. Soft-reset deletes all data saved in your phone memory, including factory settings and pre-stored music, videos, etc. 2. Dial *#7370#. This would take at least 2 minutes. 3. Try sending messages to your own number. 4. If sending messages is working, you may now restore your backup of phone memory. 5. After restoring phone memory backup, try to send messages again. 6. If sending messages is not working again, chances are, your original phone memory is full and you should delete messages and contacts. You have to repeat soft-reset (steps 1-3). But your previous data should be accessed directly from your memory card so as not to directly save to your phone memory. ******ciao*****this works for me. took me an hour to figure out how this works coz I really like my 5320. gotta find a way to tweak and fix this anyhow =)
Go to the messaging menu choose send message then go to Voice SMS or Picture Mail, okay then choose Recent List there you should see the recent contact you have texted to select the ones you want to delete and press options there you can delete the selected or delete all.
I found this solution posted as comment on this clip:
This following solution was suggested on youtube, it worked for me. There is one negative point about it: ALL YOUR OLD MESSAGES WILL BE DELETED
If you delete your sms.db file (located in: var\mobile\library\sms) it fixes it, you can open and send\recieve sms. i think the only permanent solution is to upgrade to 1.1.3 with itunes and start again (im asuming u got the bug using ziphone, i did). i installed isms as a backup sms service incase it stops working, which it does often. you cant look at recieved messages, but good for sending sms if sms.ap is playing up
