Hi,please visit the URL below...The website has this

http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/adet...

"Power: 120V-240V/ 50-60Hz Frequency (Universal) input voltage, 19V x 6.3A output" or
Input : AC 100-240V - 2.5A 50/60 Hz - Output : DC 19V, 4.7A, 90W
both are for it...just one is bigger from " watt " point of view..

Hope this helps! Take care and please Remember to rate/vote and give me

MY TOSHIBA SATELLITE L305D -S5938 WONT TURN ON

it sounds like one of three things:

1. Battery itself no longer functions
2. Laptop Charger has inadequate amperage
3. The motherboard is defective (most likely).

If you have another battery, or a friend with the same battery, you can try that first (and someone else's laptop charger).

If the problem is the motherboard, you can try to have it repaired but I don't trust many companies to do this kind of work. I outsource my motherboard jobs to a company called Laptop Rescue (http://www.laptoprescue.com/laptop-repair-2/). Coincidentally, they also sell laptop chargers in case that's the problem. Hopefully it's just a charger or battery issue and not a motherboard.

Toshiba satellite l305d-s5934 Won't charge battery dont power On

POWER SUPPLY & BATTERY PROBLEM
If the laptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced. Rechargeable batteries will fail if stored in a discharged state for long periods.

That's just the way Windows works when power is cut off. You should set your Control Panel/Power settings to put the PC into hibernation if it's left alone for too long.
