You're probably pulling it out to hard. Solution: pull the stem out completely and carefully try to push it back in for one click only, then attempt to set the date. If this doesn't work, return the watch as it is defective.
Follow this link:http://www.invictawatch.com/ Hover over the COLLECTIONS tab and click on INSTRUCTION MANUAL. There you will see RONDA and MIYOTA movement tabs. Those are two manufacturers of watch movements used to produce all INVICTA watches. RONDA is Swiss company and MIYOTA is Japanese. Check out both to find an exact match to your particular watch.Unfortunately that is all Invicta can offer. Rate me please.
Hard to fix for people without watchmaking knowledge. I'd do that in 15 minutes. Anyway - Invicta is NOT even the average quality watch company, so, can NOT charge you more than price of watch. Contact me: [email protected] This will be long explanation, but , hopefully you will get it right.
I too was confused at first at setting the second hand after reading the directions. I read your post in searching for a solution, then I figured it out. Check the watch face, the second hand is operating using military time. (24 hr. time) You will see 24 hour time embedded on the face.
For example: if you wanted to set both hands to be at the same time to test this. At say 10 p.m. set the second time hand to 22 for 2200 hrs. (10 p.m.) Let's say you woke up at 7 a.m. The second hand would be at 0700 (Embedded on watch face) then at noon it would say 1200 on the watch face... I now use the normal hands for local time and set the 24 hour hand for my home time.
I hope this helps.
