Deskjet 3520. I mistakenly clicked on print a 200 page document when I only wanted 7 pages. I cannot stop it from printing. Tried cancel and even unpluging it and each time I reconnect, it continues to print. Please help.

Click on control panel, then double click printers and faxes, then double click the printer you are using, a panel will appear, and you click on the document name you have entered, then click on document, then cancel and click yes when asked if you want to cancel the print job. It will take it a little while but it will clear the job you have entered.

How do I stop a print programme before the end? I mistakenly asked for too many copies of a document and I want to stop it now that it has done the required number

Click Start - printers and Faxes - double click on your printer then you will see a list of documents that are queued to print. Click on the print document you want to remove then click on Document at the top and then click Cancel. Repeat for other print documents you want to cancel.

Cancel printing/receiving long, unwanted fax?

You should show an Icon in the task bar when printing, right click it.Then click cancel print job.You can also get there by start menu, then click printers and faxes. Then click your printer and cancel print.

Note:you can always do a print preview by clicking the little arrow(in explorer)next to the printer Icon. Then pick what pages you want to print, click apply, then print.Hope this helps?

How do I cancel a print job?

just turn the printer off...and delete the commands from the error and job folder...you have to insist ...and try to open it from control panel or Hp in all programs .if it doesn't work from tray system ...this is the way to annul the commands...if it does not want to ..restart and try it again until it get rid of it ...restarting will make it not see that is used by another device ..

Cancel printing doesn't work

If you have tried a reboot then why don't you try a Soppler Refresh.
Click on Start> Run (and type Services.msc) Hot ok.
It should open services window up.
Then look for Print spooler> Double click on it> Under General amke sure startup type is selected as Automatic> Then down you shoul see a tab which says stop> Click Stop (Now a small windows popps up and closes) You will see Start Highlighted> Click start and stop will be higlighted> if applicable click on apply or ok and close all the windows and restart the computer.
Then go to Start> Control panel> Printers and faxes> and check to see if the icon say 0Ready> if yes right click on the icon and left lick on Properties and then in the bottom you will see a tab which says print test page> click and see if it prints a test page.
Then try printing any document.

Good Luck
