What could be the problem in 89 Lincoln town car if ac blow hot air when accelerating but when ideling or less then 46 mph blows cold?

I'm no expert when it comes to your vehicle. However it sounds to me as though there may be a vacuum leak somewhere causing the HVAC door that controls the AC/heat to be faulting to the 'hot' side.

Drive the car up to 55 MPH with the AC on. Making sure there is no vehicles close behind you, completely let off the gas pedal and see if it starts blowing cold air right after letting off the throttle. If it blows cold, then it's probably a vacuum leak.

If it doesn't blow cold then it could simply be low on freon or a partially clogged filter in the AC line.

Hope this helps.

When I put the heat on in my car it blows warm air for a few seconds then goes to blowing out cold air.

The lack of heat in the car has little to do with the car's cooling system, other than the hot coolant is the heat source. 95% of all "no-heat" issues are related to heater controls and/or the heater core itself. Since you get some heat, and then it goes away, this indicates a probable vacuum leak in the heater controls. When you select heat, vacuum is directed to a vacuum motor. This motor operates a vacuum actuator that moves a linkage that moves a door inside the heater box to direct the interior air through the heater core. If this actuator has a leak, it will activate, then as the vacuum leaks off, deactivate. You probably need to have a part replaced in the heater actuator mechanism.

2002 Buick Rendezvous no heat and over heated after warming it up for over 30 minutes.

Have a pressure test done on your cooling system, you sound like you could have a leak in your system or your system just needs to have the air bled from it. Check your coolant level also, with air in the system and not enough coolant it will blow cold and cause overheating.

Subaru tribeca 2007 A/C problem

ac leaks are found by vacuum down the system and seeing how long the vacuum holds for
,mechanics are seldom qualified to check a system and if they rely on sensors to do the fault finding will not find slow leaks such as compressor seal leaks or connections leaks
leak detection dye and appropriate colored lens in glasses and using an ultra violet light will reveal a leak better
to test for gas , use a proper gas manifold gauge using 2 gauges --one measures the low pressure side to check for blockages and the other to measure low gas pressures or blockages causing high pressures

Lennox 10HPB36-10P is blowing luke warm air.

What coil is getting cold? In cooling the evaporator coil should be getting cold not the outdoor condensing coil. Verify you have the tstat setup for heat pump, verify you have a proper refrigerant charge.

2003 kia sorento heater blows warm air only while driving at high speed

Engines can rock on the motor mounts. You probably have a vacuum line that is pinched, cracked, broken, kinked, or unhooked. check the engine compartment lines first. If you have thin plastic vacuum lines, they can kink more easily than rubber lines. If you have been working under the dash (replacing a radio, etc) check your work area in case you have a broken fitting on a vacuum housing or an unhooked line.

A/C compressor is charged but it still will not blow cold air. I have checked to see if the control switch will switch from heat to A/C. When i switch it to heat it will blow out hot air. But when i switch...

It could be a vacuum leak. You may do a simple test by applying soap suds on the vacuum hoses and joints to test if there is indeed a leak. You may have to open up the dash and inspect the evaporator (inside part of the AC). Check if the 'doors' for the air are moving correctly when you switch from heat to AC. Some cars apply this technology. Inspect the inside for dirt. You may need to take out the fan and the coils inside for cleaning. I recommend pressurized water for these parts. Check also for loose cables. If these cheap solutions did not work have your system tested. You may need to recharge your AC with new coolant.

Cold air blows outside and hot air inside

Make sure it is in cooling mode. Sounds like you may have a problem with the reversing valve but you would want to check the pressures in the system first and make sure the charge isn't low.
