Will not turn on

Like a few other posts here...you can try to turn it on and the green light comes on three times but then goes off.

You need to replace the flyback. You need flyback number 259296 you can get a replacement at the following link with free step by step installation instructions.

Will Not Turn On


First you need to do a self test diagnosis and then if it comes up with:
SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK SOLDER CONNECTIONS AT CONNECTOR "DY" ON THE YOKES. 2. SHUTDOWN AT POWER WITH SELF-DIAGNOSIS ERROR 23 OR 24. CHECK C411 2200 UFD 35 V AND C412 10 UFD 50 V, BOTH LOCATED ON THE MAIN PCB
Do self test by pressing Input/Device and Menu at the same time for 5 sec. the set will show a 2 digit seq. first blinks followed by a short pause then the second.

Your lamp door switch or lamp switch (there are 2) may not be fully engaged or one may have failed. Try seating the lamp again, you may not have it fully installed.

GE 52" will not power up - green light flashes 3 times


Replace CP150 and CP114 and CP120/ You can get the caps with instructions at the following link. They do have a minimum order amount of 10.00 so you may need to order an extra capacitor to total 10.00 but shipping is free. The parts are listed under the RCA parts category,

replace CP150 CP114 and CP120 all three capacitors are available at the following link with free instructions they are listed under the RCA parts category which are the same ones for your GE TV.

I have a RCA D52W19 you turn on the Green light comes on but goes back off Tv will not come on.

hy i got a toshiba 42" LCD tv ,when i press the power boton
iget the red light,& it stay that way ontil i pressthe power back off
