Question about Dell Inspiron 2200 Notebook
I just bought a brand new battery for my 2200 inspiron as I previously had to use the ac adapter permanently for it to run.
Can you let me know the optimum way of charging the new one up as it came with no instructions
Let it charge for a good 12 hours before running the machine, basically overnight. The power management system will recognize that this is a new battery, and is programed to start the initial charge sequence for a new battery. It is supposed to do this whether the machine is in use or not, but I recommend 12 hours just to be on the safe side.
