I have a GE Adora dryer With Sensor Dry. Lights on panel On but start switch not terning Dryer on. What do I do?

here are some simple things you can try that might work, they are quick and cost free, but may have not effect, or may fix your issue. your issue could be the actual switch needs replacing or even the whole control board, but try first:
1. just unplug the dryer and wait 30 seconds and plug it back in and see if that 'resets' it.
2. unplug, hold down on button while plugging back in
may do nothing, but cannot hurt and certainly won't make it worse.

My GE Adora does not call for water.

its either the water intake solinoid's coil has gone open circuit or the control circuit usually A 1 AMP triac on the controller board has developed a fault simply take the top off and check using a multimeter set to AC 300v etc and when running you can check at the solinoid for power supply to it
if there is supply and no water ?? does it click if it clicks isolate the water and take the feed to the machine off at the machine and inside the intake youll see a small filter you can pull this out for cleaning using some flat nose box plyers
if it doesnt click then its gubbed and the coil has developed shorted turns then gone open circuit {quite common}

Error code E70 What is it?

E70 Stuck key Continuous key read for 60 seconds. Power down (unplug) machine, wait 30 seconds and retry. Use t04 test to test keys. Separate control and control housing from front panel - clean and remove foreign debris. Ensure all keys can be operated freely without sticking. Replace control panel if actions do not resolve. Maybe this will help

Error code e61

  • GE dryers use three-character codes that display on LCD screens. Every code starts with "E" and is followed by a two-digit number.
Power Failure
  • When your home loses power, the "E01" error flashes on the screen. Reset the dryer memory by unplugging the device, waiting 30 seconds and plugging it back in. The error code will disappear.
Thermistor Errors
  • Errors "E02," "E03," "E04" and "E05" are thermistor errors. The thermistor, when operating properly, reads the temperature of the dryer. Errors E02 through E05 indicate the thermistor must be replaced.
  • When there is an error with the door switch and sensor, the "E60" error code will appear. An unbalanced door will produce the E60 code. Try to close the door gently and listen for the click. If the error remains, the door switch may need to be replaced.
Control Board Errors The control board sends signals from the controls to the dryer. When this fails, errors "E61," "E80" and "E81" appear. Contact GE service or install a new control board for the dryer

My electric GE dryer stopped working today, when

sounds like the motor is running, the belt could likely be broken and be the culprit, this is if the motor is turning for sure after you start the dryer
