Issues after replacing bulb

After replacing my bulb... there is a purple line on the top of the screen that is about an inch wide and runs the length of the screen.. Not sure if it is bulb related or maybe another issue. Any help or suggestions would be appriciated.

Turn off the tv and let the lamp cool. Remove the housing and examine if the lamp is crooked in the housing.

If not, you probably has an issue in the optics block (a filter or mirror has shifted). This is a major repair or diassembly the light engine to check the optics.

You have a defect in the convergence circuit. Both chips will need replaced and possibly a resistor or two. Chip part numbers are STK392-110. Typical repair runs around $350
