For that to happen the electronic component that causes to cool the container already defective. It need to be replace with similar parts.
You can fix it, if you have some knowledge in electronic or electrical, know how to test of component parts, able to use test instruments.
If you don't have such knowledge, call a service technician to do that.

This is a no-brainer answer. The thermoelectric cooler is a coulomb cooler - two sets of fins one inside, one outside. Screws appear to be the material difference which causes the coulomb cooling, so there must be a fix which requires no parts, just disassembly and reassembly after getting rid of the problem - maybe corrosion on screws. Answer should be along these lines and recommendation for dielectric grease - or maybe not. That is the answer I was looking for. Answer as given is idiotic.
