On the left side of the machine, where the pages come out, Behind the catch tray or finisher there is a small door that pulls open, it flips downward. Tilt it open, slide out the filled bottle and put in the empty on, One waste bottle comes with a box of toner.

Can i empty the 7120 waste toner bottle?

No you should not empty this bottle. It is designed to keep the excess toner inside itself and should be disposed of properly. NOTE: To return the used Waste Toner Container for recycling, follow the instructions included with the new container. If the instructions or shipping label are not available, click on the [Recycling] link under the Product Resources section of this window for additional information. Follow this link for detailed instructions on how to replace the bottle once you have a new one onsite. http://www.support.xerox.com/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE?St=161,E=0000000002703235792,K=5302,Sxi=14,Case=obj(1554) Hope it helps!

The most possible cause for this is that the waste toner bottle if full causing the waste tonert to drop of the drum module. The waste bottle is located to the right side of the machine. If you open the right side door you can see it.It is a black narrow/long bottle.Replace it or empty it.It might take some time before it clears out.Still it is best if a technitian removes the drum module to clean it.I would not recoment the removal of the drum from a non trained person, for this is quite hard to do

Waste toner container replacement

Yes you can. But there is a window at the top of the bottle . There is a sensor that looks through that window to sense toner in it. It is a small area about a half inch high and quarter inch wide that bulged out of the top of the bottle.
Poke a hole in it, clean it with a q tip and reseal the opening you make .
That should do it.

How do I change the waste toner bottle?

The waist sump is in the Drum Unit.
If the messege says to replace sump unit, either the drum unit has to be replace(Copy Cartrige) or, if you wish to do this,
remove the copy cartridge and remove the front black cover with the small rectangular metal cover. I beleive they are 3 - 5.5 mm black bolts.
On the back there is a black knob that has to be rotated, to swing the drum out. On the front there is a brass spacer that has to be removed.
Pull it off and pull out the drum. the top of the drum has to come off and the bottle comes out. Vacume out the toner into a waist bag, or dump the toner in a plastic bag. its your choice.
If not buy a new drum unit.
The machine needs to be reset in the maintaince area of the menu.if you cannot find it, the machine will come up with the replace waist sump.
You will need to find this, or call Xerox to have a service repair person enter diagnostics to remove it from the machine.

How to reset waster toner bottle full Xerox 3535

Here's what I did.

Emptied the waste toner cartridge. Left it out of the machine. Held the microswitch (located to the right of the optical sensors) in the "cartridge in" position with a paperclip. Printed one document. Inserted the waste toner cartridge. Error now gone!

GCC.

Waste Box Full/Not Installed

There is a plastic waste toner bottle. Depending on the machine it can be located in front or behind a door on back of the machine.
If you go to Xerox.com and click on support, then put in your model number, the support page, type in waste and it should show you how to change the bottle for your model.
