I also have the clicking sound when i plug it in and turn it on. it took abot 30 minutes and than the screen was bright pink?the blue light around the power button turned on that time.

If before it was going rather bright red or a version of that--it is related to the circuit for the red picture tube this set uses---the tube itself or the circuit board that plugs onto the end of that tube.

If bright red, green or blue screen set will detect too much current being drawn and blank or turn tubes off; not likely a do it yourself repair and this set is prone to this and many other problems---Just Google the model number with "problems" and see what I mean.

I have the same model and the same problem... I am told the power display board is is the issue and may need to replacing. New board costs around $80,or a bad capacitor depending on your paitence.

sounds like red pixelation. contact vizio and describe your problem. use an alternate input and try to duplicate problem but you may have a bad main board and or av connector. check with vizio some parts are lifetime warranty and free service call. hope this helps, j

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE MAIN BOARD IS BAD. THERE IS 2 DIFFERENT VERSIONS FOR THIS SET .AM02 UNITS OR VERSION 0001 UNITS. THE PART NUMBER IS BN94-00695E. THEY BOTH ARE ABOUT $210 + $50 CORE.

When the "pink screen" happens on my Polaroid FLM-1911 TV, I unplug the power cord from the back of the unit, wait 30 seconds, and replug it. This fixes the problem.

Sounds like the red color tube is goeing bad you wil hafto call in a tech to conferm it Sony is noted for tubes goeing bad, in the future leave sony alone
