The washer tub spring has popped off it's mounting. You will need to remove the top panel and reconnect the support spring back on to the metal frame.

Machine does not stay still it dances sround the

Front load washers are really nice looking but a pain in the neck. Question, with the washer empty, door open, take a look at the basket (the part that rotates around inside). The outside edge of the basket (if visible) should be very close if not even with the rubber gasket that runs around the outside of the door closure. Push up, down, left, right on the basket and see if there is movement, not spinning but up, down, left right. If there is there is a good chance that the bearings have gone out on the washer drum. If so, big problem. If not there is also the area under the drum, you would have to take the access panel off (most likely in the back) you will see the drum housing and 3 to 4 springs (depending on make and model). If those springs are broken or came loose that could be the problem also.

Washer shakes violently!

Do you not know that unbalanced dry clotrhes become super unbalanced wet clothes! If you put too little clothing in the front loader, the weight will be in one place on the high speed turning drum. If you put in too much, the load will shift to a few locations but still be out of balance. Rather than "dance" the Chubby Checker way with your machine, try stopping it when it does "the dance" and redistribute the clothing around the drum!

My LG frontload washer keeps turning off between loads and has to be reset by unplugging it and holding the start button for 7 seconds. I am tired of climbing behind my machine to reach the plug. What...

  1. Make sure the washing machine is properly leveled and that the load is balanced inside the drum. An unbalanced load can cause the machine to shut off.
  2. Check the power cord and outlet for any visible damage or loose connections.
  3. Check the control panel for any error codes or messages that may indicate the source of the problem.
  4. Check the door latch and hinges to make sure they are functioning properly. A faulty door latch can cause the machine to shut off.

Lg washer/ frontloader

Take a hand towel soaked in vinegar, then run it around the rubber seal around the front of the door, making sure you get all the way under. Then run a load of whites with javex or vinegar. Always leave the door ajar after you are done washing, or that mildew smell will re-appear.

Machine jumps around like it is out of balance

There is an unvalance in the machine obviously. I would be checking the shock absorbers to see iif any are broken or not in place.. If it is a toled floor it is oftemn difficult to prevent some movement when the machine is in spin. one way around this ( providing it does not have a broken chassis or shocks) is to place a heavy rubber mat under the machine to prevent it moving on the slippery tiles

Washing machine dances all over at high speed spin.

Push down on each corner, one at a time, when you push on a corner and the dancing stops, that's the corner that needs balance. adjust the foot.

Front load washer leak

This could be the rubber seal or the door lock. If the door lock is not pulling it tightly closed then it needs to be replaced. Check the seal really closely and make sure there are not cracks and it does not look deformed
