are you popping fuses??? check the effects, preamp, and power amp jacks to make sure they (even if not in use) are Normally Closed. Sometimes they loose their contact to ground on the Tip of the jack, which opens the circuit and interrupts the normal function. then check the input jack for good contact to the pcb and solder joints, as well as all pots (especially the volume). if all this checks out, and it still is having issues, i would then move on to the grounding resistors (solder welds can heat up and break as these resistors get hot) and resolder them to the board. still no output, then diodes / rectifier / filter caps.
I suggest you contact Omron with your requests for Marshall 80-series blood pressure monitors. Omron seem to have bought / acquired / become otherwise responsible for the Marshall brand.
That is how I got the manual for model 80 here Owners Manual User Guide for Marshall Professional Aneroid Sphygmomanometer...
To request a manual from them send a message to them with your exct and detailed request using the webpage Contact OMRON OMRON Global
I hope this helps
