The heating element has failed....probably

You would need to open your iron to test the thermostat:
Open the Iron up. Use a volt meter to test the thermostat and heating element. With the thermostat turned to a high heat setting. It won't matter which electrical connection at the thermostat you place the probes on, just put one on one side and the other on the other terminal at the thermostat. If you find continuity(Meter needle jumps, or digital read out show little or no resistance found) your thermostat is ok. Then place your probes across the two leads on the heating element. You should read little or no resistance. Any parts found showing an open open circuit(Zero on your meter) will need replacing.Contact small appliance.com and they should be able to order one for you. If there is anything else I can do for you please don't hesitate to ask.

My iron worked perfectly and suddenly started beeping and all of the lights went out and it no longer heats up. It is only 2 years old with not much use.

Try wiggling cable at plug and then at iron side if light flashes you have a broken wire.

Why isn't my Iron heating up? Just finished filling my Krups V65 iron with water. Was ironing linen shirt on linen setting, all of a sudden, heat dropped all the way down to light one (very low heat) and...

I do believe the thermostat is defective. All the iron have a small thermastat top control the temperature and is working like a switch. If the switch don`t work get stuck on the same position.Unfortunatly sometimes is better get a new one themn fix an old one but this is The Market and nothing i can do personally. Also make sure the thermostat knob is working properly. If you hear a click when you turn is ok.
Good Luck

Light comes on, but iron will not heat up

Like what was posted before, the cause of the iron lights is on but the heaters are not hot is because either your heater connection is melted or rusted due to water seepage(steam irons). The lights power supply are tapped parallel to the heater supply thus lights is on. Solution is to dismantle the iron to replace the connectors or cables. Though not all iron is easy to dismantle
