Question about Computers & Internet
The computer has only the green battery LED illuminated with power supply plugged in and it will not power on. There is 19 volts on the power supply. Measuring across the battery terminals from the first and last one there is 18 volts DC. If you unplug the power supply the green battery LED goes off. Unplugging the power supply and re-pluugging it in has the battery LED cycle from yellow to green after about 5 seconds. I have ohmed across the switch for the disply and it opens and closes.
Often times when laptop won't power on, it's jack on the back where the power supply plugs in. It needs to be disassembled, soldered back together and that should fix it. Good luck!
