Hi , My monitor (Philips CRT monitor 109B50) keep showing the phrase 'LIGHTFRAME ON LIGHTFRAME OFF' why is it so? Lastly the blue configuration box with language/zoom/adjust ,eveything ... kept appearing and manipulate itself to adjust the settings thanks

It would appear that the control panel buttons are either stuck, or malfunctioning all together. You could take a pen knife and gently lift the buttons and see if the issue stops.
If it does not then your monitor is malfunctioning and will need to be replaced. I would verify your warranty as most monitors carry a 3 year warranty.

Hello.

Switch the monitors on your video card to see if the monitor or the video card port is the problem. If the same problem occurs on the left side with a different monitor, the video port is problematic. If the problem switches to the right side, the monitor is problematic.

Or, hook one monitor at a time to test on the right and left sides.

your problem is in blue color cathode circuit. as you say that it becomes ok tha5t means 1 cable wire is loose from computer to monitor. 2 crt base loose. 3 loose contact in blue video ckt. 4 signal processor cable to crt board connector loose.(blue wire)
