Question about Clarion NAX970HD Navigation System GPS Receiver
Does anyone know how to do this without frying the bios or having to send it back to China?! These were the two solutions that were offered to me: To take it back to the people that installed it, have them take out the board (they, Clarion, do not accept the entire unit back for updates) ship it to China, hope it doesn't get damaged during that shipping. Have China install the updated maps and ship it back to the installer. Hoping again that it doesn't get damaged on the way back to the states. On top of this I am supposed to pay for the installer to take it out again, shipping it to China and then the shipping back. All just to get Clarion to offer the newest maps. My second option was to buy the NAX980HD.
Actually they do accept the whole unit (without the wires ) back.!!!!!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
