Re: PLEASE HELP - Labels are printing in the wrong...
The ups site ahs a solution to your problem. You need to send a ZT command to the printer to reverse direction
The easiest way to do it is to open the printers properties and go to the advanced tab go to Printing Defaults then select Tools then tools again and a window will popup. Enter ZT and press enter. The Send button should now be enabled. Click on it. DO NOT touch anything else. Close all windows and try printing . If this is not the direction you want , rod and this time enter the ZB then enter. There are only 2 commands ZT and ZB

Go to the Argox web site does your model printer do labels? check the media spec's. Are using the correct setting in the print driver? Check the printer setting on the machine. web site mite have a work around also might go to web site down load up grade driver to allow ding lables
I think your printer is set to print on Continuos media. If you use gap labels, you will need to set the printer from the menu on NOT CONTINUOS, then save the setting. In some cases the software or driver is the one who controls this setting. So you will need to change directly in the printer driver. You will find this option on the General tab (click Properties then) and Advanced tab (click on Printing Defaults). There you will have a list with printing parameters like speed, darkness, media type. Adjust as you need to fulfill your request. But first change directly to the printer, accessing the menu from control panel.
You need to change the print method from thermal transfer to direct thermal. There are three places to do this:
- on the printer itself
- in the printer driver (this will override the setting in the printer and be the default setting for any new labels crested)
- in the print properties of a specific label (this will override the two settings previously listed)
The last option works best if you are switching label stock or ribbon in and out for different labels.
Hi, it seem your label maker is set to the last(amount) of labels printed. Go to: Print Labels, click; Number of Labels; clear to set to (1) Label. That should stop the run off of labels. Thanks paul70f9
You have to calibrate the printer to solve this problem
Check following to solve this problem
1)Press the feed button and hold it for 1-2 seconds switching printer on.It will calibrate the labels.
2)Install Zebra Designer driver from CD.After installing Zebra designer Add printer Zebra Designer LP2824.After installing driver right Click the printer Zebra Designer LP2824 and go to printing preferences then select advanced option and calibrate printer. It will calibrate printer
3)Check the label size is properly set in printer or not.Label width and label height in printer settings should be same as label which you are using .
