Problem for Sony KV-27S20 27" TV
Sony TV lost picture & sound

I have a 32" (?) Sony TV that is 12 years old. It is a floor model that is incased in wood with a shelf underneath for DVD player, receiver, etc. with a glass door in the front.
Was watching TV 2 nights ago and everything went black and the audio was lost. I haven't tried anything yet. The TV is still in excellent condition and I would like to be able to repair it myself.
Any info and cost of parts would be appreciated.
