SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

With a stuck cd on a mac, what is the 2 credit card thing?

A few ways of doing this

restart mac and press down the trackpad after you hear the startup noise

if that does not work try opening up disk utility and click on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject

or open up terminal found in the utilities folder within your applications folder and then type in
drutil tray eject and then press return

Finally what to do is try pick up your macbook tilt the macbook to the one side and press the eject key and hopefully the effect of gravity will allow the CD to fall out.

One other way to do it which I have used recently but IT CAN BREAK THE CD DRIVE (Use it at your own risk), so only use it as a last resort. Get a thin piece of plastic (or credit card) and put a piece of double sided tape on it then with the macbook switched off insert the piece of plastic with the tape facing down in relation to the keyboard. Put it in about half an inch and you may be able to drag the CD out.

We bought our daughter a dsi xl. The other day she brought it to me and her brother had got it and put a card in it backwards. It was real hard to remove. Finally we got it out but now the card slot will...

Did you purchase an "extended" warranty when you bought it?
Such a warranty may cover "self-inflicted" damage.

Did you use a "premium" credit-card to purchase it?
Sometimes, the credit-card company includes coverage for "all perils" damage.

Yahoo mail will not ask for your credit card information to open an account please do not give out your credit card information.

Hi what does Error 03 mean?

My endeavor has done this error 3 a couple of times and the cd changer basically shuts off all lights and won't do anything. Someone on another solution page said to slide a credit card back and forth in the cd opening to fix the problem. I've done this both times and it has made the changer play again as if nothing had happened : )

Panasonic PV-20DF64 20 inch TV/DVD Combo TV can not read disc

If the disc loads up and you can hear it spin, then you get the error, more than likely the optical lens has been damaged. This will have to be repaired by a local shop if its worth the cost. if the part is available it would probably run anywhere from 130-165 to repair

Good Luck!

Something stuck in disc drive of ps3

There is no need to open up the console! Make sure the power is off! Get someone to hold the PS32_bing.gif upside down (so the disc slot is facing down) then get 2 butter knives insert them carefully one on the left and one on the right of the disc slot. Now gently push the knives away from eachother so that the one on left goes left and the one on the right goes right. You will feel them push the brackets that hold the disc in. As you push the brackets you will release the mechanism that holds the disc in and it should just drop out. I did this with mine when my little boy decided to put a credit like card in it!

Playing cards

go to youtube and find a video on how to open a disc drive.
Remove the foreign objects and it should work.
Unfortunately, opening the console will void the warranty.

I have a 6 disc pioneer CD player that will not play or eject the case of CD's? It trys but nothing happens.

This sometimes happens when you put two disc's in one tray. If it's not locked in the loaded position then you can take a thin piece of plastic (as thin as a credit card but longer, five inches or so) or the equivilant (like that impossible to open without cutting yourself plastic packaging) and slide it underneath the 6 disc cartridge. You need to work it in and out, eventually you will hit the release mechanisim.
If a disc is loaded then it won't work and you need to dissasemble the changer and manually retract the disc.
