Samsung dsc camera, was using it and it just turned off with the lens still out, won't even turn on properly - screen lights up for 2 seconds and off again. Have tried new batteries and no luck so definately a technical problem. any advice?

I might get back to you on this one... A friend had the same issue with a completely different camera. At the time, I couldn't work it out, but we put it down to flat batteries.

In the meanwhile, see if you have a factory reset button/hole that you can poke.
