When I plug my camera into the computer using the USB cord that was given, the computer says that the camera or scanner cannot be detected. I have used the same cord with the same computer many times before and this is the first time the pictures havent copied over. I dont know if there is a setting on the camera I need to change? Please help, Thank you

    Have you considered NOT connecting your camera to your computer? The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

    Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

Please follow the steps given below to add the scanner using Scanner and Camera wizard.

1. Plug your scanner into your computer.
2. If your scanner is "Plug and Play," the "Scanner and Camera Wizard" starts or double-click add device. Follow the instructions on your screen.

Note:

1. To open "Scanners and Cameras," click "Start," click "Control Panel," click "Printers and Other Hardware" and then click "Scanners and Cameras."

Use the original cable. Download the correct USB driver from Casio website and install.

first check whether ur printer have usb or lpt. and then check ur model may be sometimes ur printer automatically detects by xp otherwise u have to download ur printer from www.driverguide.com
