The power is off !!

I have been using this player for seven years. When I turned on, it started beeping and continuously open and close the front panel. Now, it doesn't even turn on when I put the front cover (panel).

I tried to fix it and pulled the unit out and looking at the connection of wires behind of the unit but I couldn't figure it out.

I really like this player and I don't wanna stop using this one.
Please help me !!

The display flashes "closed" and I can't open the cd drawer when pressing the open/close button. Is there a reset please ?

Try removing power from the unit, let it set two minutes without power and power it up again. See if the problem continues.
Make sure the cd drawer is complete closed and flush with the front panel. If not, something could be stuck inside.
Turn off power and remove cord from wall for next step:
There is a small hole generally on the flat face of the cd drawer through which a bent straight paper clip can be pushed gently until you hit a mechanical stop. Pushing slightly harder at this point should cause the cd drawer to move open mechanically. Gently pull the cd drawer open until you can remove any CD still inside.
Gently push the drawer closed again and restore power to the unit and see if the problem returns.
Would be nice to have manufacturer and model number of the CD player.

  4. If the disc tray still does not open and a disc is stuck inside, follow the steps below to force the disc tray to eject:

    3. Immediately after POWER ON is displayed, press the STOP button on the front of the player. IMPORTANT: Only use the STOP button on the front of the BD player. The remote control cannot be used for this operation.
      NOTES:
      • The disc tray should eject and the BD player will turn off. If it does not eject, repeat steps A-C.

If the issue is still unresolved, service may be required

My computer beeps continuously every time i have it plugged in

Try this suggestion. Turn off your laptop, remove the cables and battery on the pc. Press and hold the power button for 8 secs. Then reinsert the cables and battery on the laptop and then turn on the pc. If it still continues to beep with no interruption, it is a problem on the motherboard. I suggest to call Acer and have your computer repaired immediately unless if you know how to reseat the motherboard by tearing down the laptop..

I was playing my ps3 when it suddenly went off and when it went off it wouldn't even respond to the wireless handles. When I turned it on the green light will come on. It will play the main screen and then...

You system may have a corrupted database or filesystem.

It can also be caused by overheating wich can lead to YLOD in the end.

Try this, if its not working and you still have warrenty left on it, then have it send into service.

If you dont have any warrenty left id advise you to try cleaning it for dust yourself, if its a to big task im sure theres a workshop close to you that do these kinds of repairs.

Anyways, before sending it to service or opening it try this first.

Step 1: Turn off the PLAYSTATION 3 by holding the Power button on the front of the unit till the Power light is red.

Step 2:
  1. Touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the first beep, meaning the PLAYSTATION 3 is powering on.
  2. Continue to hold the Power button and after about 5 seconds, you will hear a second beep, indicating the video reset.
  3. Continue to hold the Power button and after about another 5 seconds you will hear a third beep and the system will power off (Power light is red).

Step 3:
  1. Touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the first beep, again for the PLAYSTATION 3 to power on.
  2. Continue to hold the Power button and after about 5 seconds, you will hear a second beep for video reset.
  3. Continue to hold the Power button and after about another 5 seconds you will hear a quick double beep. At that point release the Power button. If you succeeded in activating Safe Mode, you will see a message on the screen saying, "Connect the controller using a USB cable and then press the PS button."
  4. Connect a USB cable to the controller and the PLAYSTATION 3 and press the PS button to enter Safe Mode.
  5. Then you will see the Safe Mode menu.

Step 4
: We recommending performing the safe mode options in the following order until one of the options works for you. If one of the options work, do not continue onto the other options.
  1. Restore Default Settings
  2. Restore File System
  3. Rebuild Database
  4. Restore PS3 System (This will wipe your harddrive, so remember to backup savegames.)

This error code indicates that the door is not locking.
Is the washer door firmly shut?
The door must be completely closed for the washer to operate. The door may look as if it's closed, but it may not be latched. Open the door and firmly close it.
Were you washing a large load?
Before you close the washer door, check for laundry items sticking out beyond the door opening. Leave enough space in the washer to allow the clothes to freely tumble. Reduce your load size if needed.
fl_doorseal.jpg To remove the error display, press Pause/Cancel twice.
hcz_003_web_env1.gif

If Pause/Cancel does not work:
  1. Unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute.
  2. Plug in the washer or reconnect the power.
  3. Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTE: If the error remains on the display, and all of the other conditions above have been checked, call for service.
