Disconnect all input and all output and check if the problem solved you will have an problem in surrounded world-start with one input and one output speaker and check if it is ok go to next speaker until you find the bad one-----if all above failed your amp needs to be inspected in service center.

Peavy bandit 110, unit powers up fine and plays ok then intermittently output drops way down. You can barely hear it. Sometimes it comes back by itself or by repowering. This happens on any input or...

You have some semi-conductor device that is effected by heat and is faulty. When it get's to hot it switches off, then it cools down and comes back to life. If this is a stereo amp and it happens on both channels then you are looking for a device that is used by both channels. The only way to find out which part is to use Servisol Freezer Spray on suspect parts. You wait while it plays up and then blast (only one at a time) the suspect part with the spray. If it comes back to life you have found the part that's faulty.

Zener diode and hum in guitar amp

It could be the diodes, but whatever is the cause it's before the pre-amp section. Generally a loud hum such as that with no effect by volume control, is mostly caused by the filter capacitor in the power supply. And that hum is the 50HZ mains hum getting into your system!

How work peavey cs 1400? is good

I just added a CS2000 to my rig and it is powering a pair of Peavy SP2s and a pair of SP118 with no problems at all and it sounds great. The CS stands for Commercial Series and is the workhorse of Peavey. I highly recommend them.

Replacement parts for Pyle power amp PT-2000

VU meters are generally illuminated by small bulbs at the back of them. It's unlikely to be a powerfull bulb perhaps 12 volts perhaps around 200ma at the most. Most electrical shops should sell something that should suffice. It could be an LED though!

Problem with my Peavy CS 1200x power amp

1200x with over heating output...does not care if it has a load unless it is too low,(Scott is wrong)..you have a leaky output, or a triac firing and clamping down the voltage to the speakers..the foldback shutdown may also be leaky, but these usually cause it blow fuses, and these get damaged by bad outputs or running the amp into shorts..since this amp has some really high voltages in it I suggest you take it to a shop before you KILL YOURSELF!
