Plug in an external vga monitor into the port on the back.. If it works the internal display may be disabled. Usually it involves hitting one of the function keys at the top with possibly shift or control. If the light comes on and there is only one beep when you turn system on tre above . If there is no power light try adapter or battery. If you have beeps most likely the memory is loose or bad . If after making sure internal screen is turned on there is a problem with video card , back light or screen.
Thanks,
Alex

Test the laptop using an external monitor
If this works fine, then the issue is with the screen, or possibly the vga cable. I notice this is referred to as a compatible screen, was this obtained new, or is it 2nd hand. Although most 15.4 screens fit most 15.4 laptops, some do not display correctly, this might be your problem. If you know the screen to be good I would suspect the connection at the back of the screen

If this still shows issues with an external monitor, you have a problem with your graphics chip on the motherboard

Are there any sounds like beeps with it? Most likely a hardware issue however, you need to contact support for troubleshooting as without having a one on one conversation it will be hard to rule things out
