I have no display on my easynote laptop? - PC Desktops

    I have plugged in an external VGA, and that is coming up with "check cable connection" which is fine. I am also pressing the montitor picture on F11 and F5???? with function key but getting no bleeps/lights or anything. Can you help please??? Packard Bell EasyNote.... Ta

Plug in an external vga monitor into the port on the back.. If it works the internal display may be disabled. Usually it involves hitting one of the function keys at the top with possibly shift or control. If the light comes on and there is only one beep when you turn system on tre above . If there is no power light try adapter or battery. If you have beeps most likely the memory is loose or bad . If after making sure internal screen is turned on there is a problem with video card , back light or screen.

Some how your BIOS got turned around, turn your computer off and back on, when your screen pops up for setup press the appropriate F-Key to setup. At the bottom of your screen you will have choices, Enter Default Settings and Exit. Reboot the computer and that should do it for ya. If It don't, Install a new copy of Windows, it knows your drive is there and it needs a new System Disk to read. Good Luck.

Easynote battery


It is possible that a bios update will allow the laptop battery meter to function correctly. Care should be taken with bios updates.

you have to set the hard drive first if there is any one detected if not there is bad hard drive and you have to replace it
