Per the troubleshooter, the alarm is notification that the temperature is too high inside. (Above 9 c)
Possible causes:

  1. Too much unfrozen food added at once
  2. Door not properly sealed letting cold air out (Check seals all the way around the door for damage/ice build up)
  3. Thermostat set too high
  4. condenser coils clogged with dust/debris
  5. the ambient temperature outside the system extremely high (If the system is not in a temperature controlled location)
If those items do not apply, then there is likely a failure in the coolant system, (Loss of coolant most likely) other items may be the cause, if you address items listed without success, a service technician will be required.

Hi jo,

I see that you mentioned oyou Zanussi Frost Fre Fridgfreezer is beeping every Hour or so, and that the display lights are flashing red, and the Temperature is not picking up as you mentioned.

You did not give the Model or Product number of your Machine click this link to be able to download the Manual and information for Troubleshooting your Frost Free Freezer.

Also if you defrost your Fridge an open the Panel inside the Freezer you may see tubes where the Freon goes around if those tubes are covered by Ice then most likely it is either there is a leak on one of the Tubes or the Freon on your Fridge is already Low and need to be refilled.

If you thaw the Ice covering the Tubes, It is possible that you may regain the Freezer from Picking up with it cooling... Also the beeping most likely could be an indication that the Freon could be Low or maybe something Else is wrong.

check the Link i posted you can download the manual and troubleshooting Guide from that Link.

I hope that this helps.

Thank you for choosing Fixya,

mvincentc

    No need for a multimeter.

Check if the Compressor is warm and clicking?

If it is then this can only be repaired by a service technician.

Check this Link for further details on Troubleshooting issues with Machine.

Hi Jo mills,
With regards to this problem,

Either the main frost main defrost heater under drain heater is faulty.

Therefore , please have a check by removing the baskets from the freezer and removing the back cover , there you will find two screws which you need to unscrew.
You will find two wires there, use a multimeter to check those wires , and also look above the wire plugged into the back and you will find that the wires are pushed into a small block.

Now you need to unplug these and meter them out.
If you find the faulty , that means they need to be replaced, because it's usual for the small drain heater which is situated in between the plastic unit that causes the problem , because the FAN gets jammed up and it results in irritating beep sounds.

Hope this helps ..:)

    Hi There,

You don't have to do this while the fridge is switched on ...., the part i.e. the small drain heater should just be given a look as to whether it looks damaged , as in majority of such cases , that is the only thing that causes the problem that you are facing...

    Hope this helps ..:)

Alarm showing red and flashing E on fridge temp display - FridgeFreezer model no ARC6680/IX

The high temperature alarm or the red light indicator came on because the internal temp is high. This means that the temperature inside your appliance is still too warm. Keep your freezer/frig door closed and the light will go out in a few hours and you'll then be able to adjust temp or keep it as it was before defrosting.

Why is Zanussi frost free freezer alarm always flashing

Because it does not achieve the correct temperature (for example: -18 degrees centigrade).
For a more precise answer I need more information.
A lot of things may be incorrect:
- Doesn't work defrosting cycle
- The cooling fan is not working
- Too much ice on the evaporator battery
- Faulty thermostat or NTC sensor
- Faulty cooling system (gas leak)
- Compressor
- Electronic

Zanussi dishwasher beeps once and end of cycle light flashes

Most likely your dishwasher finds fault.

Appliances without a display will show the alarms by a number of flashes of the LED "end of cycle".

For example: one flash = i10, two flashes = i20
..........and so on

So, count how many times LED "end of cycle" flashes and you will know the error code.

I have an older fridge freezer which has 3 lights in fridge ,1 for if ive left the door open, 1 for i think tempreture and 1 with an s on also a on/off switch.I just purchased this 2nd hand and its great...

What make and model is this unit. It sounds like it could be an error code. Possibly a thermal fuse or something in the defrost cycle. Try unpluging the unit for 15 mins and plug it in again. It will at least reset it and it may run until it hits the defrost cycle again. You are most likely going to require service.
