Question about HP LaserJet 2820 Printer
Can I fix this problem? How
The problem you are having is with a clutch also known as CL2 or T2 Clutch. The part is available through HP at http//:partsurfer.hp.com. Just put in the part number RH7-5335-000CN and it will come right up for order. It cost 26.73 plus shipping.
The disassembly is a little intense but completely do-able with the service manual walking you through it. The clutch is part of the drive assembly on page 366 (#3). The diagram looks intimidating but its not as the full hunk can be taken off and then the clutch removed for replacement.
Here's a free copy of the manual:
Hope that helps you. If so hit it with a fixya!

Have you disassembled the drum unit? Because if you did so, then you didn't put on the right way two black rollers near the transfer belt.

check the clutch. If the error persists,
replace the T2 clutch. If the error still

Any chance you got a bad drum unit? It could be binding which would cause this error.
