    My error is almost same.

    It says - 59.99 error , Turn 0ff and On.

    Inspite of doing so, still it is not working.

  • astuckpoint Jan 23, 2009

    is error 59.99 remotely related to printer quality issues. My pages and intermittently printing very light ( hardly readable) after a few prints. My drum was low so I though it would fix the print quality issue but it didn't. I still have to replace my color cartridges. before i replace them I need to know why now with a new drum are pages printing of poor quality and if it is related to 59.99

The problem you are having is with a clutch also known as CL2 or T2 Clutch. The part is available through HP at http//:partsurfer.hp.com. Just put in the part number RH7-5335-000CN and it will come right up for order. It cost 26.73 plus shipping.

The disassembly is a little intense but completely do-able with the service manual walking you through it. The clutch is part of the drive assembly on page 366 (#3). The diagram looks intimidating but its not as the full hunk can be taken off and then the clutch removed for replacement.

Here's a free copy of the manual:

http://www.feedroller.com/Store/Service%20Manual/Color%20LaserJet%202820,%202830,%202840%20Parts,%20Service%20Manual.pdf

Hope that helps you. If so hit it with a fixya!

Have you disassembled the drum unit? Because if you did so, then you didn't put on the right way two black rollers near the transfer belt.

It is much easier to replace the main gear drive assembly. The clutch is located on the assembly.

    Unfortunately tbe manual does not mention that when you pit the upper most gear in you have to position it to where it will lighn up with the top cover rail or the lid will not close properly.

System error e007

This error has to do with the Fixing film sensor detecting a problem with the Fixing Film. Replace the fixing film and it should be working again.

Detail code 0000

Fixing film sensor failure

The fixing film sensor is faulty.
- Check the connector of the fixing film sensor.
- Replace the fixing film sensor.
- Replace the DC controller PCB.

8.2.1.1 Controlling the Fixing Film Speed
The rotation cycle is measured with reference to the mark provided at the end of the fixing film to rotate the fixing drive motor at the optimum speed, thus keeping the paper feed speed constant. Measurement of the cycle of each rotation (excluding the initial rotation and post-rotation) of the fixing drive motor starts when 1 second lapses after the motor starts rotating and ends when the trailing edge of the last sheet has passed through the fixing nipper.

I have canon ir 5800cn error 014 please any help

There is service bulletin that says:
Measures against noise, E014, and faulty fixing caused by coming off of fixing roller
Detail:
<Symptom>
The fixing roller comes off, leading to noise, E014, and faulty fixing.
<Cause>
Because the fixing spacer [2] does not rotate while the fixing roller [3] is rotating, the retaining ring [1] becomes
detached due to frictional resistance with the fixing spacer, and the fixing roller comes off as a result.

<Factory Measures>
A projection (P-2 [1]) is added to the fixing spacer. When attaching the fixing spacer, fit the projection in a
groove (P-3 [2]) of the fixing roller shaft so that the fixing spacer will rotate together with the fixing roller and
frictional resistance between the fixing spacer and the retaining ring will be eliminated. Therefore, the retaining
ring is prevented from becoming detached.

Service Work:
Replace the fixing spacer with the new-type fixing spacer when the foregoing symptom has occurred in the
field.
To prevent occurrence of the symptom, check the shape of the fixing spacer when replacing the fixing roller,
and replace with the new-type fixing spacer if the previous-type fixing spacer is attached.
<Point to note on attaching the fixing spacer>
Fit the projection (P-2 [1]) in the groove (P-3 [2]) of the fixing roller shaft to attach the fixing spacer.
