Just pop the faceplate off and tlook at the silver Microsoft sticker. If it has been tampered or removed then it will not look completly silver, it will have little pieces of the silver removed from the sticker.

Ds lite L and R button dont work

Seriously, wrap your lips around the button and blow. Make an air tight seal. I know it sounds stupid, I thought so when I read it here http://schlaghund.wordpress.com/2008/03/27/low-tech-ds-lite-lr-button-fix/

It worked for all them, myself included.

Enjoy!

Hello!
This is similar to the Red Lights Of Death. But instead of your CPU having a bad connection, it's your GPU. There is a 3 year warranty on the 360, so call Microsoft and get it repaired or replaced. If the warranty seal is broken you can take it apart and replace the x-clamp with 4 screws, 8 fiber washers, 8 steel washers and heat sink paste. Contact me for further instructions if doing it yourself. I hope this helps.

Good luck and happy gaming!!

You will have to contact your dealer or microsoft. Also on ebay people sell instructions and components to repair the fault yourself.

surprisingly it only costs around 15usd.

if link broken try here

I've not tryed this but the seller has 99.7% positive feedback so Id guess its valid.

here is what microsoft says about the problem and also contact information

PS2 (fatty Model) Does not power on

No! absolutely do NOT open the PS2. You will make a huge mistake especially since you dont know what to look for. Besided, if someone here tells you it is one thing, how do they know for sure? Just go with the Warranty.

3 flashing lights except for the top right

I do not know how to fix the three red light problem manually by yourself, however microsoft have extended the Xbox warranty to three years for the redlight problem, so if i was you, i would get in contact with microsoft, and have them send you a new xbox out or repair it free of charge. if for some mad reason they do not do that for eaxmple, you have touched the band seal. call 1800-4my-xbox and they will help you
Good luck and please rate
