You may have a plugged drain hose. Or possibly your household drains are running slowly. To check the hose, pull the washer out. Turn it off and unplug it. Disconnect the drain hose (the 2" black hose) and see if you can clear it of any clogs. You will need some towels and a container for catching any water.
Leave the washer unplugged for a time (don't get the plug wet) while you check other drains in the house, especially the garbage disposal and toilets.
Plug the washer back in and turn it on and try a cycle.
This is the most common problem for what is happening with your washer. If this does not fix your problem, you may need to call a serviceman, or if you do have slow drains elsewhere, a plumber.
Thank you for uisng fix ya! I would appreciate a rating on this solution.

Hi I have a Hoover AL120 machine which has developed a fault. As soon as the machine is switched on - no matter what cycle is chosen or whether the dial is set to 'stop' - the pump runs and doesn't stop. Nothing else appears to happen. It is as if the machine is waiting for a signal from the pump to say it has finished pumping. What I really need is an electrical schematic for the machine - does anyone know where I can get one of these? Many thanks in advance M
