For Panasonic KX-T7735....... we do not have a System Programming manual. I need to switch extensions, as two employees have moved offices.

A Panasonic 7735 is a phone. It may have been delivered about the time the TA series KSU's were made, but the point is it's forward and backward compatible with ALL Panasonic KXT series systems.

So, which manual are you talking about?

It was either delivered with the purchase of your phone system, or the dealer "stole" it from you.

Hi. Thanks for answering. I became employed here a year ago and could not find any instruction booklets for any of the equipment here..I found the User Manual online easily. Tells you how to answer the phone, etc. What I need is to be able to do administrative things. For instance, the time on the led screen was wrong and folks here said " oh, we're just used to it." Drives me nuts. So, yes I figured out how to change the time, but now, as I said, I need to switch phone extensions, as some people have moved their offices.
I guess I need a programming guide for the " Advanced Hybrid System"

Look at the label on the side or bottom of that "advanced hybrid system" it will have a KX-Tx and a number. Guessing TA-624 or TA-824. There's a difference. While you're there, take a look at the wiring. Jack 01, by default in a TA series is ext 101. Now do you have an ideal on how you can switch extensions? You just plug them into where you need them. Trust me, it's easier than trying to hardware change the numbers and the characteristics of the original extension, button programming and such stay with the user.

We have a panasonic KX T7735 phone system at home and I'd like to know how to set up caller ID for this system

You need 3 items, CID service from the telco, a CID card in your Pana system (TA82493, TA62493, etc.) and some programming. The Installation manual and Programming manuals have the procedure for installing and programming the phone system.

In our system when we receive incoming calls, its rings on 2 handsets first then if un-answered rings on the rest of the handsets. I have connected a new extension, but I'm unsure on how to stop this from...

It's called programming. Somewhere, you have a Programming Manual for your system and in the 400's (ie 411-413) you define the ringing for each extension.. By default it's set to immediate.

This is for the TA series systems. Yours may be different.

How i can change extention number to new one (i have 4 telephones in house)?

This can be done through system admin programming. From the programming phone, press program key then **1234(1234 is the default system admin password). Enter 003 for the program code then enter. Dial the present extension number followed by the new extension number, then press enter. Press end or lift the handset to finish.

How to view the call log

Call log depends on what system you have the phone connected to. In an 824 it requires 2 buttons and has to be system log, since personal doesn't show missed calls IIRC. These 2 buttons are CID Indication and CID Selection. They are functions 96 and 97 in programming and I usually put them as the top 2 buttons on my button strip.

In addition, there are some extra programming steps to make it work on your extension, but if the steps above work, it's already done. If it doesn't work, please comment back with your phone system model number and I''ll give you more specific instructions.
