* Remove battery.
* Insert sim in a jack(symbol 'll be given aside it, along with direction of sim).
* Put ur battery n cover back..
* Swith on ur phone..

Which phone model?
Mostly you have to remove back cover and then remove battery. Then you can insert the simcard underneath the battery.
