Question about Kenmore 55612 / 55614 / 5561 / 655619 Side by Side Refrigerator
Not getting water to icemaker, I replaced the water valve assembly also cleared out the water lines. Still not getting water to the icemaker.
the water solenoid valve is normally triggered by the ice maker itself. as it turn to harvest the ice, it should trigger the water solenoid valve to start another cycle of ice making. its either a wire harness problem that's why power is not getting to the valve or the triggering switch of the ice maker not sending power to the solenoid. i hope i was able to help you guys...

I have a BI95 on my boat, same problem, got it diagnosed today, the ice mold is deteriorated and leaking, see if there is any white plastic coating that is coming off. If so, you have to replace the entire ice maker unit. You won't like the cost.

There is a water fill adjustment on your ice maker the normal fill time is 7.5 seconds...
the adjustment screw is on the side and in the middle of the head..
•Turning the water level adjustment screw
will move the contact in its relationship with
the contact ring segment. This causes the
contact to vary the time that the water valve
is energized since the contact ring is tapered
at the end of the fill time.
•Turning the knob or screw clockwise
decreases fill - counterclockwise increases
the fill amount.
• Only one revolution is possible with the
cover on, due to a stop molded on cover
360o will affect fill by 40cc - 180o varies
the fill by 20cc.
•if you need more adjustmnet remove cover
• Further adjustment could damage
Hope it help please let me know if it does...

using an hairdryer or defrosting the unit completely , this often get
rid of blockage caused by frozen lines fixing the problem.
The water lines can also be unblocked from dirt using a thin flexible shaft. This after defrosting.
If all that does not fix the problem, then you may need to replace the water valve, the icemaker solenoid, or the whole icemaker assembly.
