Website issue Hi, Thanks for the responses, I have reset the IE, but still I cannot access this one specific website that does exist, is there maybe a 'note' of it somewhere that restricts it, I have added it again to the Trusted site list but no joy. This morning I set all my IE Security to match my Mum's Laptop whihc can access this site, but something somehwere is against me. I appreciate any light you can shed, appreciate already that you are trying Wayne

    Hi pcblogger,

I have turned off the Anti-virus but the problem still persists and its baffling me now. I have a vista pc and have had problems in the past whenever I have installed itunes to the point that I cannot put itunes on the PC anymore, but that's a different story. I have also tried a number of itunes alternatives to sync with my ipod but with no success. Could one of these somehow blocked the use of this mp3 site? Maybe clutching at straws but I am baffled and I have 100 euros on the website.

It might be your security software.Click start, then run then type msconfig then hit enter.Go to the start up tab and uncheck the box for kaspersky then click Ok.Restart you computer and try navigating to the web site again.

Sorry to hear that.if u have a recovery partition on your pc i will recommend backing up your data and reinstalling the whole operating system.i don't think the other itunes alternatives are causing the problem.to eliminate every possible cause just go ahead and reinstall your operating system.Don't forget to back up your data though

Facebook is not responding why ??????

Hi Fifihassan,

In addition to what said above by Hddocter, I would check the Internet connection. If it's good the website is not down (try to access it with a different device and from a different network).
You can also try to access it from a different browser as there might be an addin/proxy/setting on your current browser that blocks Facebook from loading. In case you use IE try to reset your internet settings to defaults.

TheSmacker.

I can't get online with Internet Explorer

What version of IE are you using? Can you connect online with another browser like Firefox but not with IE? Are you getting any error messages that would help us to diagnose the cause? Does internet explorer start and open a window, but report that you cannot connect?
Please see this troubleshooter for IE issues, though you will have to access it from another internet connected computer. This article may also prove helpful.
You could try resetting the IE to default settings by going to Tools>Internet OPtions>Advanced and reset IE settings to default. That will often clear up a configuration issue. Here are instructions to do so.
These issues could be related instead to your security software or a malware issue with your system. I recommend you follow this malware removal guide if you suspect the latter. There are some infections prevalent that will block your internet access to certain sites, and must be removed before IE will work correctly again.
Without more specific information about your problem, I'm afraid that's the best advise I can offer you. I hope something there helps.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

How to access website (EX:ravikumar.com)in server2003 what is the requirements.

You need to add each website to the allow list in IE. I think it's better to use opera. But maybe that site will also be blocked by IE. Try searching on google and going from there.

Website not found

Check internet explorer connections to see if you have configured IE to connect to the internet with a proxy.Usually if IE is configured to use a proxy,it affects firefox too.
