You can find drivers at

http://www.ecsusa.com/ECSWebSite/Products/ProductsDetail.aspx?detailid=479&CategoryID=3&DetailName=Driver&MenuID=1&LanID=0

there is not system recovery disk in the page, but you can use any windows disk installer and then install driver from the page ;)

Ah, then you need to find an installation disk for you operating system, and do a clean install of windows. Simply boot from the CD and follow the on screen instructions to reinstall Windows.

When you do not have recovery disks it is not uncommon for the manufacturer to have included in your preloaded programs one to make recovery disks or to recover the computer from special files included in your hard drive.

Check your manual for the details. If nada there then you may be able to purchase a set of recovery disks from Acer.

Remove ALL media, DVD,CD,USB, Unplug, remove battery, plug in , reboot, OR, unplug while it's on and repeat if necessary. Use this procedure to do a System Restore/Recovery: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20060819000752AAUeYvu It would be helpful if you posted the eMachine Model and the OS you are using.

I have an HP Compaq tc4400 that I got from an old friend that had no use of it . but when I turn it on it says Non-system disk or disk error replace and strike any key when ready but I dont have a disk ....

It sounds like there's a problem with Windows (assume that's the operating system it used to have). I think you'll need to get a Windows install disk. Installing Windows is actually not that hard, and it sounds like you've got nothing to lose.

If you don't have access to a copy of Windows, why not try out Windows 8 - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-8/release-preview

I assume it'll only be free for a few more days as Windows 8 will be released in under a week now.

Hope that helps.

Cheers,
Derek.

My satellite a505 laptop has windows 7 on it and was wondering if i was supposed to get a disk with it so i could reinstall it

Uusally, now a days you do not get a disk with a new computer. Instead, if you go into the toshiba folder under programs on the start menu they will have a utility to make recovery disks. These disks can then be used to completely redo your computer should you need to.

Hope this helps.

Blue screen error 0x00000024 dont have recovery disk

This Stop message, also known as Stop 0x24, indicates that a problem occurred within Ntfs.sys (the driver file that allows the system to read and write to NTFS drives).

Resolving the ProblemDisk Corruption. Corruption in the NTFS file system or bad blocks (sectors) on the hard disk can induce this error. Corrupted SCSI and EIDE drivers can also adversely affect the systems ability to read and write to disk, thus causing the error.
Check Event Viewer for error messages from SCSI and FASTFAT (System Log) or Autochk (Application Log) that might help pinpoint the device or driver that is causing the error. Try disabling any virus scanners, backup programs, or disk defragmenter tools that continually monitor the system. You also need to run hardware diagnostics supplied by the system manufacturer. For details on these procedures, see the owners manual for your computer. Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and resolve any file system structural corruption. You must restart the system before the disk scan begins on a system partition. If you cannot start the system due to the error, use the Recovery Console and run Chkdsk /r.

Recovery For ACER 3660

If you have recovery disk try starting them from Windows, or start computer with disk inside and chose 'boot from cd'.
After booting from recovery disc chose complete recovery.
Save a backup of your data, as complete recovery may delete the data.
If recovery disk does not work you will have to install Windows from a generic Windows setup disk, in this case refer to manual for how to.

Here is the user manual, check from page 82

Complete system crash

If you got some DVD's with the system, one should be a "Application and Driver Recovery DVD" which has all the original software that shipped with the system.

If you dont have that then I would just order a set from HP directly
