I keep calling logitech but their phone is always busy.

You should press the reset button on the receiver for 5 seconds. Let it go and then immediately press the reset button on the mouse once. Hopefully this should get it going.

Is your receiver a blue sort of half oval triangular shape. If it is there should be a black button in the center of it.

    Hi Marj

If my previous info does not cure your problem (i.e, you have no reset button on receiver) try this.

    Hi again Marjorie.

I have found instructions on the logitec website for your particular mouse.

Perform the connect procedure for the MX Revolution as follows:

    • Make sure the mouse is turned off.
Note: The on/off switch is located on the base of the mouse.
    • While keeping the left button pressed, turn the mouse on.
Make sure the battery indicator does not turn on. If it does, start again.
    • Still while keeping the left button pressed, click the right button 5 times.
    • Release the left button.

    • Open the connect utility by clicking on start>all programs>logitec>mouse and keyboard>connect utility

    • Once you have launched connect utility, simply press ok.

    • Your mouse should be re-connected within 2 seconds

    Hope this helps

I have a Logitech cordless mouse but had a problem recently. It fell on the ground and the batteries fell out. Put them back in, the mouse came back on but didn't work. Pushed the button on the mouse several times, no luck. The light at the receiver was always blinking whenever I pushed the button on the mouse, so I assumed that should work. After a few tries, I ended up pushing the button at the receiver and low and behold, the mouse was working again.
Have been using this mouse for years, had that problem only one.

Hope it helps.

If the batteries in the mouse are rechargeable, recharge them. If they are not, replace them. Get your mouse closer to the receiver. Change the frequency channel they communicate trough using the Connect buttons on the receiver and the mouse.

Lost the mini receiver to my Logitech desktop MX3200 laser please help me out!!!

Not even Logitech could help you with a lost component without which the system won't operate unless you can directly wire the keyboard with the mouse wired (wait a minute, neither has wires, do they) to the desktop.

Here are your options:

1.New wired Keyboard and Mouse:
2.New duplicate of what you had, with careful shoppiing to make certain that the same channels are useful to your receiver (of which you will have one) while you have two KBs and Mice addressing one
receiver for dual control of one desktop which is exactly why one purchases a KBR.
3. Purchase, if available a new receiver from Logitech.

My choice of the above options is Door #2

LX7 cordless optical mouse with dongle

Had the same problem. But before filling the logitech RMA from to get a replacement, I put new batteries into the mouse and the mouse worked again.
I am using rechargeable batteries, and I seems to me even if the green light on the bottom of the mouse is on, the driver warning for low battery does not come on. May be the volage drops to fast with a older set of batteries.

Try out new batteries. Hope this helps.
I am using the LX7 mouse for more than 2 years with lost of abuse (>10x drops from shoulder hight to hard office floor, sitting dongle in my pocket and dropping my backpack onto the floor with the dongle on the botton in the backpack).

Flahsing Red Light

Now what you have to do is look for a reset button on your mouse and your wireless mouse signal receiver.
When the receiver and mouse both are on press the reset button on both of them one by one.
This should solve the problem.

Mouse doesn't work

Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it. This should connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly. If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the button on the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud
