Sure. You should be able to find the fax log in a folder in the folder for your Printer underC> Accessories or Programs> Ricoh. If you can find the fax, you can go to Edit in the toolbar>select all>copy and then paste it into a new fax. If you can automatically resend it from the log folder I am not sure. Look through the options there and see if you can.

Good Luck to you and Thank you for using Fix Ya!

Can't fax because the fax log is full and want to know how to erase

HI...............
How to Delete a Fax Log History on an HP????

The HP printers come with the HP Solution Center software. The software allows you to adjust settings, transfer images, send a fax and make copies right from the control center instead of using the printer control panel. When you make a fax, receive a fax or block faxes, a log is kept in the HP Solution Center. You can use the software to view faxes and delete a fax log history.
Difficulty:Moderately Easy Instructions

    • 1 Open the HP Solution Center by clicking the "Start" button. Navigate the mouse to "Programs" and click on "HP" to open the drop-down box. Click on "HP Solution Center." If you have the "HP Solution Center" icon on the desktop, you can click the icon to open the software.
    • 2 Click on "Settings." A drop-down box will open up. Click "Fax Settings and Setup," which will open another drop-down box. Click "Fax Log," which will open the fax log window.
    • 3 Read the "Sent Log," which is the first tab on the window. The information will tell you the date, duration of the fax, name of the fax, fax number, how many pages and the status.
    • 4 Click on the first fax in the log to highlight it. Click "Delete" at the bottom of the window to delete the fax. Continue this step for each fax until every fax you want deleted is gone.
    • 5 Click on "Received Log" and delete each fax. Click on "Blocked Faxes" and perform the steps again to delete each of the faxes in this log that you want to delete.

HOPE THIS SOLUTION WILL HELPFUL TO YOUGOOD LUCK.................

Every time I send a fax, I get a Fax Log. Want to disconnect the fax log.

Hello. Go into the menu and disable the log or set it to print off a log after every, say, 20 faxes. J.

Wish to print outgoing fax log date/time/number

Hi,

I don't think there's a log you can print but you can do the following. Not quite what you want, but better than nothing...

You need to set the fax confirmation option to log faxes before you send anything. The default option is off, so you won't be able to get a fax log for anything you've already sent unfortunately.

1. Press Setup
2. Press 2 then press 1. This displays the Print Report menu
3. Select Fax Confirmation
4. Press c00424037.gif to highlight one of the following, then press OK

Off Does not print a fax confirmation report when you send and receive faxes successfully. This is the default setting.
On Fax Send Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send.
On Fax Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you receive.
Send & Receive Prints a fax confirmation report for every fax you send and receive.

My HP Photosmart C6180 All-in One Series prints out a Fax Log after each Fax sent, How do I change the setting so that it prints a Fax Log only on request

Press the Fax Menu button twice to get to the Fax Menu to select or change Fax Options. I didn't see Fax Log in the manual, but I think they refer to it as a Fax Confirmation.

The only reference I saw in the manual was this:

"Note If you need printed confirmation that your faxes were successfully sent, enable fax confirmation before sending any faxes."

Sending fax error message "low memory"

Try reading these:

General fax problems
Issue Cause Solution The document stops feeding in the middle of faxing. The maximum length of a page that can be loaded is 381 mm (15 inches). Faxing of a longer page stops at 381 mm (15 inches). If no jam exists and less than one minute has elapsed, wait a moment before press Cancel . If a jam exists, remove the media. If the item is too small, it can jam inside the automatic document feeder (ADF).

(HP LaserJet 3015 all-in-one) The minimum paper size for the ADF is 74 x 105 mm (2.9 x 4 inches).

(HP LaserJet 3030 all-in-one and HP LaserJet 3380 all-in-one) The minimum page size for the ADF is 127 x 127 mm (5 x 5 inches). If a jam exists, remove the media. The fax activity logs or fax call reports are printing at inappropriate times. The fax activity log or fax call reports settings are not correct. Print a configuration report and check when the reports print. Set the appropriate log or report printing times through the control panel or the HP Toolbox. The volume for sounds that the device emits is too loud or too soft. The volume setting needs to be adjusted. Set the appropriate sound volume settings through the control panel. Fax send troubleshooting Use the information in the following table to solve problems that might occur when sending faxes: Issue Cause Solution Faxes stop during sending. The fax machine to which the fax is being sent might be malfunctioning. Try sending to another fax machine. The telephone might not be working. Do one of the following:
  • Turn up the volume on the device, and then press Fax/Send on the control panel. If a dial tone is heard, the telephone line is working.
  • Disconnect the device from the jack in the wall, and then connect a telephone to the jack. Try to make a telephone call to make sure that the telephone line is working.
A communication error might be interrupting the fax job. Change the redial-on-communication-error setting to On.

See the electronic User Guide on the CD-ROM that shipped with the product. The device is receiving faxes but is not sending them. If the device is on a PBX system, the PBX system might be generating a dial tone that the device cannot detect. Disable the detect-dial-tone setting.

See the electronic User Guide on the CD-ROM that shipped with the product. A poor telephone connection might exist. Try again later. Outgoing fax calls continue to be dialed. The device automatically redials a fax number if the redial options are set to On. Press Cancel to stop the redials while the device is dialing.

To cancel a pending fax job, see "Canceling a fax job" in the electronic Users' Guide on the product CD-ROM.

See "Changing the redial settings" in the electronic Users' Guide on the product CD-ROM. Faxes that are sent are not arriving at the receiving fax machine. The receiving fax machine might be off or might have an error condition, such as being out of paper. Call the recipient to make sure that the fax machine is on and ready to receive faxes. The originals might be incorrectly loaded. Make sure that the original documents are correctly loaded into the automatic document feeder (ADF) input tray or flatbed scanner (not available with the HP LaserJet 3015 all-in-one). A fax might be in memory because it is waiting to redial a busy number, other jobs that are ahead of it are waiting to be sent, or the fax is set up for a delayed send. If a fax job is in memory for any of these reasons, an entry for the job appears in the fax log. Print a fax activity log and check the Status column for jobs that show a Pending designation. All of the numbers of a long fax number cannot be dialed. The maximum number of digits of characters that can be entered into a fax number is 50. Try manually dialing the fax number. Faxes that are sent include a block of gray shading at the end of each page. The original may be on the flatbed scanner (HP LaserJet 3030 all-in-one and HP LaserJet 3380 all-in-one only), with the glass-fax size set incorrectly. Make sure the setting is correct. See "Changing the default glass-size setting" in the electronic Users' Guide on the product CD-ROM. Faxes that are sent have data missing from the end of each page. (05) Would you, please, SEND a fax from the machine that blank faxes are being received from to a different recipient on a different fax machine all together, please?

This will enable us to pin down which machine is really experiencing the issue.

Thank you

Before you begin

To pinpoint the cause of the issue, please record answers to the following questions:

Can a fax be sent or received?
Can a fax be sent, but not received?
Has the fax function ever worked in the past?

Any error messages may also help to narrow down the cause of the issues.

Print out the following:

- a settings list to view the current fax settings
- a receive log if there are issues receiving faxes
- a send log if there are issues sending faxes
- an activity log if faxes cannot be sent or received.
Initial checks
If the fax option has worked in the past and does not do so now, check that the same connection is being used and that it still works.
Check to see if any configuration settings have been changed that could have affected the fax settings.

Faxes cannot be sent/received:
If you are using a digital line, you need an analog card, an ISDN adapter, or an ADSL filter in order to send faxes.
If a PBX is being used, an ISDN Adapter/ADSL filter will not be used as these are supplied within the system. (A PBX is normally used within a company to share a small number of public lines among a large number of private ones to save on cost.) For instructions on configuring the X6100 Series machine with a PBX, see How and When to Use the PBX Option.
Check the phone line (without the printer):
Test the line by connecting a phone directly into the phone port.
Check for a dialing tone.
If you cannot hear a dialing tone, try another phone cable. Once you can hear a dialing tone, you know that the phone port is live and working.
Make sure the RJ11 cable is not damaged.
Check that the printer is accessing the dialing tone correctly:
Press the Options button on the operator panel five times until ON HOOK DIAL is displayed.
Press Select. You should hear a dialing tone.
If you can't hear a dial tone, make sure that the speaker volume is set to High. (Go to Fax, press Options eight times until SPEAKER VOLUME is displayed, then use the plus or minus buttons to change the setting to HIGH. Press Select.)
If there is still no dial tone, unplug the power cable and the phone lead, then plug them back in and try again.

Faxes can be sent but not received:
Connect the Lexmark All-in-One directly to the phone port. IMPORTANT: Do NOT connect any phones to the EXT port.
Make sure the Fax receive mode is set to answer the fax after 3 rings. (Press the Fax button on the operator panel and then press Options three times until ANSWER FAX WHEN is displayed. Change the settings using the - or + buttons as appropriate.)

Faxes can be received but not sent:
Make sure that Country Code is set correctly:
Press the Fax button on the operator panel and then press Options 15 times until Advanced is displayed.
Press Select.
Press Options 13 times and then press the + or - button until the right country is displayed.
Press Select.

IMPORTANT! These tests must be carried out with NO EXTENSIONS, i.e. phones or answering machines, connected to the EXT port on the All-In-One.
