Have zanussi frost free fridge freezer and it works fine except for this whirring noise, that sounds like an aeroplane landing. We have now defrosted it in case there was ice hitting the fan. Any other suggestions please email is email@example.com

You said, You have a zanussi fridge freezer combination, it is a
frost free model, And you're developing lots of frost in the freezer
which never used to happen
and the fridge is not getting cold, some condensation does appear
inside the fridge, it is 2years old.
Frost could mean a few things.
Is the freezer cold but the fridge not?
If so the freezer may be so full that the articles are covering the air
vents in the back that share the cold air with the fridge.
I've have seen the freezers packed to the hilt!
More things to check.
Is the condenser in the back or under the front of the fridge. If it
is under the front of the fridge you must remove the plastic grill`(The
condenser is the thin black metal tubing that runs back and forth to
make up your condenser). This needs to be free of dust and have air
passing over and through it!
they sell refrigerator brushes for this at the hardware store.
I have had customers that never ran the brush under there ever and had 1 to 2 inches of dust and lint
under there between the tubes. After a few hours it was cool the next day it was cold!
The freon level pressure should be checked in case you have a leak.
The thermostat may be bad.
Let me know what works for you.

My husband left the freezer door open a couple of months ago, causing ice to form. The loud rattling noise was the fan hitting the ice. The reason why the temperature started to rise but the noise stopped was because the fan had got stuck in a block of ice and was no longer working. Simple solution - defrost the freezer for 24 hours. Touch wood, it is all working fine now!
