Is this access piont connected to a router? Can you get online through the router? If you can go online through the router also check the status of your wireless connection. Make sure its connected and it's getting a valid ip address.

- If it's an Access Point it does not have a DHCP server but it has it's own IP address.

- that is right, it has it's won address but does not have a DHCP server.
