"Memory card is unusable"

The camera screen displays a "Memory card is unusable (Insert a new card)" error message. What should I do?

    does not let me use memory card, if I insert a card it reads a message " memory card error"

Mine is doing the same thing with 2 memory cards. They both worked at one time and they both work in my sisters camera which is also an older version of easy share

This error message means that the memory card is slow, corrupted, or unreadable. Turn off the camera then insert a new memory card.

SDHC card won't work

Your card is an SDHC, your camera supports only SD/MMC cards. I know this because i found thisp ostlooking for a way to make it accept SDHC cards, a software update could easily work in theory but someone would have to write that update. Technology changes fast doesnt it.
