The squeals could be the belt giving out. and with no heat i would check limit switch and or the heating element. also check and make sure your house breaker has not tripped. on most dryer they are ran on 2 breakers.

Kitchenaid Dryer Keeps running and clothes remain moist.

Check to make sure you have good airflow to the outside vent. Could have a clogged vent system.

Clothes dryer doesn't heat

This caused by one of two possible things. Either you have poor air flow, or a clogged vent preventing air from flowing freely and therefor making the dryer short cycle, which in turn will take you two or three times to dry yor clothes, or the heating element has gone bad, burnt in half and is making contact with the case to provide it just enough power to barely heat. The second thing is a very rare occurance. I would turn the dryer on, find out where the air vents out to, and with the dryer running, go to where it vents and check to see if there is a strong flow of air. 9 times out of 10 that is going to be your problem. Another way to check air flow is to just pull the vent off the back and let the dryer run and see if your clothes dry faster. If you do it that way and they still take a long time to dry, then you'll probably need to replace the heating element

I have a 7 cycle ele dryer (roper) my dryer is heating up but won't dry my clothes and.very little heat coming out from vent I had a new heating element put on what can be wrong with my dryer please...

Hello,

When your dryer heats yet does not dry the clothes its usually always a poor air flow problem. What needs to checked is for lint build up in the blower housing,a chushed and or restricted vent from the rear of the dryer or anywhere to where it exits the house.

My dryer is squealing and have to run it twice to get my clothes dry

the squealing/squeaking noise is more then likely your drum rollers:

the drying twice is a venting issue:

My gas dryer is running but there is not any heat coming out to dry my clothes

Hello

When the dryer wont heat up and dry clothes it means that the thermostat is bad and needs replacement. This part is located on the blower wheel housing inside the duct, please get back to me if you have any other questions.
