I cannot find the answer anyplace, as to the meaning of the code. Have you tried turning off the machine, unplugging it for five minutes and then turning it back on? Have you checked for paper jams? cartridge problems? Correct settings for paper? Correct functional settings? What were the circumstances when this code appeared and was there any other message prior to that? There is an upgrade for your Printer at the following:
Be sure to enter your op system and download the correct upgrade for your system. This mayhelp. Just make sure to turn off all programs before you download, so that you get a clean download.
If you do not have an answer I would call a Canon service center before I used the equipment anymore. There might be a simple reset that we do not know about.
