You can get the unlock code for your T-Mobile Dash from www.Theunlockspot.com/t-mobile-dash/rs10wp9/ this site provides accurate unlock code at affordable cost with step by step guidance on unlocking process.
you dont need that just go to microsoft.com and download Active Sync and if your running vista it uses something called mobile manager! built in of coarse!
I am not sure of the problem and how well you know cell phones, But check to see if it is in airplane mode. Some how you have to get to the communication manage (where it will show bluetooth, wifi, data connect, direct push) and make sure that the "phone" is highlighted. Best of luck.
If you are a current T_Mobile customer, you can call them for the unlock code directly. If you have been with T-Mobile for at least 90 days, and have owned the Dash smartphone for at least 15 days, then you need to contact T-Mobile Customer Support by calling 1-877-453-1304 toll free. If you are outside of the country, the number is +15059983793. The representative will ask for your phone's IMEI#, which you already have, then they will process your request and email your unlock code to you within 48 hours.
I own a Dash myself, and I just had my phone unlocked last week.
