Question about Kenwood DDX-6019 Car DVD Player
Stero installed, bypassed the parking brake by grounding the wire out. All lights on unit come on and it will accept disks but not read them. The screen comes on but stays black what color is p-brake wire
I dnt have light green on my harness what other could it be thanks jay

Grounding the wire out is probably not good enough unless this is an old model. The newer units require the parking brake lead from the head unit to be wired into a toggle switch. Take the lead wire it to one of the switch terminals, then wire the other terminal to the head unit ground wire. To make it work, simply toggle the switch twice-one up then down again. This imitates the parking brake being set. This is a dopey but effective illustration:
This should get your screen working without the parking brake on.
